Join us

Joining SERA is easy.  As long as you reside within the boundaries of South Eatonville, you're eligible to be a member.

The membership fee is $5 a year per household, with our fiscal year running March through the end of February.  We've intentionally kept our fee as low as possible so any household within the neighbourhood has the opportunity to join.

The reason we charge for membership as some of our activities do cost money (for example websites and flyers), but more importantly because by having a membership of people who paid to join we signal to government, businesses, and other organizations who we engage with that SERA's membership is bought in to its mission.  That we're committing financially to the goal of improving our community, and thus must be listened to. 

As a full-fledge member you'll receive:

• Regular updates (monthly or more frequently) via email of what is happening in the neighbourhood with regard to issues such as development, traffic, infrastructure, schools, etc. 
• Voting rights at our Annual General Assembly to set the strategy for the organization
• The ability to call upon SERA to work on your behalf with local government and business when you have a problem.
